I am a doctoral candidate in Couple & Family Therapy at Michigan State University and a member of the Couples & Intimate Relationships network. I am currently in the dissertation phase of my PhD program and am using a subset of data from a larger research project on affair recovery for this. We are recruiting couples to participate in our study who have 1) experienced an affair, 2) attended therapy in response to the discovery of the affair and have terminated services, and 3) have stayed together.
We have been recruiting through mental health professionals (and specifically MFTs) throughout the United States. The flyer of our study is seen here on this page. If you know of any couples who meet the criteria and may be interested in participating or have colleagues who would be willing to share this information about our study as well, I would appreciate you forwarding the attached flyer to them.
Thank you in advance for your help with this important research!
