Workshop Agenda
Intro:  This is an experiential continuing education skills enhancement program grounded in attachment theory.  The ability to work with emotion via present-process focus (being in therapeutic encounter versus talking about content issues) is critical to change events from an attachment lens.  From the same perspective, clinical interviews that don’t move beyond content discussion interfere with meaningful change events.  The 5 Moves and 5 Interventions that facilitate this process are derived from the work of Dr. Sue Johnson, the originator of Emotionally Focused Therapy for Individuals, Couples and Families, (aka EFIT, EFT and EFFT, respectively).
